3rd Edition of Prime Minister’s Youth Camp at Border Area concludes in Tawang

TAWANG, Oct 3: The five-day 3rd edition of the Prime Minister’s Youth Camp at Border Area 2025 concluded this afternoon at the Kalawangpo Convention Hall in Tawang, bringing together youth and officials from across Arunachal Pradesh.

The closing ceremony was graced by MLA Namgey Tsering as chief guest and deputy commissioner Namgyal Angmo (IAS) as guest of honour.

Other dignitaries present included i/c Superintendent of Police Tawang Kesang Norbu, Colonel Abhijeet Bhambere, Commanding Officer of the 2nd Battalion AP NCC, Deputy Director of Secondary Education S Ronrang, Assistant Commissioner Sange Norbu, along with officials from Itanagar and representatives from the 24 participating districts of the state.

A total of 271 participants, including youth and officials, attended the camp, organised by the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

The programme aimed to foster youth empowerment, leadership, and national integration, particularly in border areas.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Namgey Tsering urged the youth to strive to become responsible citizens and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

He shared personal experiences to inspire participants to dedicate themselves to society and the country while emphasising the preservation of local traditions, culture, and dialects.

Deputy commissioner Namgyal Angmo expressed hope that the camp would instill a sense of responsibility, patriotism, and leadership among the participants.

Colonel Abhijeet Bhambere and S Ronrang also addressed the gathering, motivating the youth to pursue excellence and actively engage in community service.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by DDSE Tawang, Hridar Phuntso, who extended gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and members of the organising team for their contributions in making the event a success.
