BISWANATH CHARIALI, Oct 31: Arindam Bora, a 57-year-old Assam Police personnel and resident of Karati Gaon, Sootea, passed away on Wednesday. According to reports, Bora suddenly felt unwell while on duty and was rushed to GMCH after receiving primary treatment locally. He, however, breathed his last on the way to Guwahati.

His body was brought to Sadar Police Station, Biswanath, where officials and police personnel paid their tributes. Later, the body was taken to his residence at Karati Gaon. Representatives of various organisations and individuals offered their condolences before the last rites were performed. He is survived by his wife, two sons and several relatives.
