Naharlagun Directorate of Agriculture bids farewell to T D Neckom

NAHARLAGUN, Nov 1: A farewell programme was organised at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Agriculture, Naharlagun, where officers and officials felicitated T D Neckom on his retirement from government service. During the event, Neckom was honoured and remembered for his services rendered to the department and the state in various capacities and at different parts of the state.

Neckom expressed his gratitude to the state leadership, officers, officials of the department and the people of the state for supporting him in promoting agriculture and the farming community.

Speaking to the media, Neckom said, “I thank each and every person, especially the farming community, for giving me an opportunity to serve the department as well as the farmers for the last 37 years, 5 months and 21 days. Thankfully, today I am going to be free from all the responsibilities. I thank each individual, including my family, relatives, friends and colleagues, who helped me in one way or the other and were part of my accomplishments. I look forward to similar support in my second inning.”
