KOKRAJHAR, Nov 3: Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma and Kokrajhar East MLA Lawrence Islary distributed cheques of Rs 25,000 each to eight Ras Puja committees across Kokrajhar district at a ceremony held in the DC office conference hall on Monday.

The event was attended by District Commissioner Masanda Magdalin Pertin, officials and members of the Ras Puja organising committees. The initiative aims to support the smooth conduct of Ras Puja festivities and promote cultural celebration and community participation.
