NFR extends festival special train services

GUWAHATI, Nov 5: To manage the festive rush, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has extended the services of four pairs of festival special trains during November 2025.

The extended trains include New Tinsukia–SMVT Bengaluru (05952/05951), Kamakhya–Rohtak (05625/05626), Katihar–Amritsar (05736/05735), and Kishanganj–Amritsar (05734/05733).

These trains will continue with existing schedules, timings, and stoppages.

Train No 05952 (New Tinsukia–SMVT Bengaluru) will run on November 6, while the return service (05951) will run on November 10.

The Kamakhya–Rohtak (05625) service has been extended from November 14 to 28, operating every Friday, and the return train (05626) from November 16 to 30, every Sunday.

Similarly, Katihar–Amritsar (05736) will operate from November 12 to 26, every Wednesday, with the return service (05735) running from November 14 to 28, every Friday.

Kishanganj–Amritsar (05734) will run on November 20 and 27, with the return (05733) on November 22 and 29.

The extension aims to ease congestion and assist waitlisted passengers on these routes.

Details of timings and stoppages are available on the IRCTC website and NFR’s social media platforms. Passengers are advised to check before travel.
