NFR To Run Weekly-Bi-Weekly Special Trains

Extra coaches to be attached for the benefit of passengers in need of travel

GUWAHATI, April 17: For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Northeast Frontier Railway will operate a number of weekly/biweekly special trains connecting different destinations to clear the extra rush of passengers. Few trains started their journey while the journey of few more trains will start soon.

Train No. 02307 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) originates from Howrah railway station at 23:35 hours on every Wednesday, to reach New Jalpaiguri at 10:10 hours on Thursday starting journey from April 13 and continuing till June 29. Train No. 02308 (New Jalpaiguri – Howrah) special has been originating from New Jalpaiguri railway station at 12:35 hours on every Thursday to reach Howrah at 23:05 hours on the same day starting journey from April 14 till June 30.

Train No. 03129 (Sealdah – New Jalpaiguri) special has been originating from Sealdah railway station at 23:10 hours on every Thursday to reach New Jalpaiguri at 10:10 hours on Friday starting journey from April 14 and will continue till June 30. Train No. 03130 (New Jalpaiguri – Sealdah) special has been originating from New Jalpaiguri railway station at 12:35 hours on every Friday to reach Sealdah at 23:20 hours on the same day starting journey from April 15 and will continue till July 1.

Train No. 03101 (Sealdah – Kamakhya) special has been originating from Sealdah railway station at 21:40 hours on every Friday from April 15 till June 24 and departs from New Jalpaiguri at 07:50 hours on Saturday to reach Kamakhya at 15:35 hours. Train No. 03102 (Kamakhya – Sealdah) special has been originating from Kamakhya railway station at 23:15 hours on every Saturday from April 16 till June 25 and departs from New Jalpaiguri at 11:00 hours on Sunday to reach Sealdah at 20:00 hours.

Train No. 05870 (Rangapara North – Puri) special will originate from Rangapara North railway station at 05:00 hours on every Monday from April 18 till June 6 and will depart from New Jalpaiguri on the same day at 15:20 hours to reach Puri at 15:35 hours on Tuesday. Train No. 05869 (Puri – Rangapara North) special will originate from Puri railway station at 05:00 hours on every Wednesday from April 20 till June 8 and will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 00:30 hours on Thursday to reach Rangapara North at 10:00 hours.

Train No. 07030 (Secunderabad – Agartala) special has been originating from Secunderabad railway station at 16:35 hours on every Monday from April 4 till June 27 and departs from New Jalpaiguri at 04:50 hours on Wednesday to reach Agartala at 03:00 hours on Thursday. Train No. 07029 (Agartala – Secunderabad) special has been originating from Agartala railway station at 06:10 hours on every Friday from April 8 till July 1 and departs from New Jalpaiguri at 03:15 hours on Saturday to reach Secunderabad at 16:15 hours on Sunday.

Train No. 02518 (Guwahati – Kolkata) special has been originating from Guwahati railway station at 21:00 hours on every Wednesday and Saturday from April 9 till May 28 departing New Jalpaiguri at 04:10 hours on Thursday and Sunday to reach Kolkata at 15:00 hours. Train No. 02517 (Kolkata – Guwahati) special has been originating from Kolkata railway station at 21:40 hours on every Thursday and Sunday from April 10 till May 29 departing New Jalpaiguri at 07:50 hours on Friday and Monday to reach Guwahati at 15:55 hours.

Train No. 02984 (Agartala – Bangalore Cant.) special train will originate from Agartala railway station at 05:55 hours on every Tuesday from May 3 till May 31 and will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 03:10 hours on Wednesday to reach Bangalore Cant. at 20:15 hours on Thursday. Train No. 02983 (Bangalore Cant. – Agartala) special train will originate from Bangalore Cant. station at 10:15 hours on every Friday from May 6 till June 3 and will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 04:40 hours on Sunday to reach Agartala at 02:50 hours on Monday.

Train No. 04654 (Amritsar – New Jalpaiguri) originates from Amritsar railway station at 08:40 hours on every Wednesday to reach New Jalpaiguri at 17:45 hours on Thursday. Train No. 04653 (New Jalpaiguri – Amritsar) special originates from New Jalpaiguri railway station at 07:00 hours on every Friday to reach Amritsar at 16:20 hours on Saturday.

Train No. 05756 (New Jalpaiguri – Howrah) special originates from New Jalpaiguri railway station at 05:30 hours on April 17 and April 24 (Sunday) and will reach Howrah at 15:15 hours on the same day. Train No. 05755 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) special will originate from Howrah railway station at 16:40 hours on April 17 and April 24 (Sunday) and will reach New Jalpaiguri at 05:00 hours on Monday.

Train No. 01666 (Agartala – Rani Kamalapati) special has been originating from Agartala railway station at 15:00 hours on every Sunday and departs from New Jalpaiguri at 11:35 hours on Monday to reach Rani Kamalapati at 16:35 hours on Tuesday. Train No. 01665 (Rani Kamalapati – Agartala) special train has been originating from Rani Kamalapati station at 15:30 hours on every Thursday and departs from New Jalpaiguri at 20:10 hours on Friday to reach Agartala at 20:00 hours on Saturday.

In addition to the above, for the interest of passengers and to accommodate waiting list passengers it has been decided to attach one extra AC Executive Chair Car in train no. 12042 (New Jalpaiguri – Howrah) and back in train no. 12041 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) Shatabdi Express from April 14 to April 20. Further one additional sleeper coach is attached in train no. 15707 (Katihar – Amritsar) from April 14 till April 18 and in train no. 15715 (Kishanganj – Ajmer) from April 15 till April 17.

The details of stoppages and timing of these trains are available on IRCTC website and through NTES. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
