KOKRAJHAR, Nov 11: Kokrajhar Police apprehended three individuals and seized 11 kg of suspected ganja during a special operation in Habrubil area under Gossaigaon Police Station this afternoon.
Acting on a credible tip-off regarding illegal ganja transportation, the Officer-in-Charge of Gossaigaon Police Station, along with the In-Charge of Shimultapu TSI, conducted the operation. The accused were identified as Anowar Khan, Aman Ali and Nur Islam.

Around 11 kilograms of suspected ganja, estimated to be worth approximately Rs 6 lakh in the black market, were recovered from their possession. The contraband was seized in the presence of independent witnesses, following legal procedures.
Police stated that further investigation is ongoing and necessary legal action has been initiated. Authorities also highlighted that Kokrajhar Police have intensified efforts to combat drug abuse in the district.
