Nepali MIL textbook launched at Kashipur School

GUWAHATI, Nov 16: The Nepali MIL textbook for Lower Primary Schools was officially released at Kashipur LP School, marking a step forward in promoting mother-tongue education.

North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa, the Chief Guest, lauded the initiative for strengthening foundational learning and preserving linguistic heritage. The event was attended by DHAC officials, Haflong Municipal Board Vice Chairman Keshav Sharma, teachers, guardians and representatives from Nepali and Gorkha organisations.

CEM Gorlosa emphasised the educational and cultural importance of the textbook, while officials and community leaders pledged continued support for inclusive, language-friendly education in the district.
