Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar launches ‘Frontier Insights’ and Assamese edition of ‘Pancha Parivartan’

GUWAHATI, Dec 12: The Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar officially launched its monthly journal, ‘Frontier Insights’, along with the Assamese edition of the book ‘Pancha Parivartan’, marking a significant step in promoting awareness on border security and citizen engagement in nation-building. The ceremony was held at the NEDFi Auditorium in Guwahati under the leadership of Editorial Chairman Sanjay Aditya Singh.

Frontier Insights is designed to highlight the critical role of citizens in safeguarding national security while fostering sustainable development in border regions. Through focused reporting, stories of resilience and strategic insights, the publication aim to connect remote communities with the national consciousness.

The Assamese edition of ‘Pancha Parivartan’ (Five Transformations) presents a five-pronged framework for societal change emphasising self-sufficiency, social cohesion, environmental stewardship, civic responsibility and family-oriented enlightenment. The book offers actionable guidance for citizens, especially in the Northeast, to actively participate in nation-building.

Dr Sunil Mohanti, Prachar Pramukh of RSS Assam Kshetra, stressed the alignment of both initiatives with the mission of cultural and national awakening. He said, ‘Pancha Parivartan’ and ‘Frontier Insights’ encapsulate the essence of Vyakti Nirman to Rashtra Nirman (Individual Development to Nation Building), fostering pride, vigilance and collective responsibility among citizens.”

Dhruba Mahanta, Press Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam, emphasised the importance of accurate and targeted media in promoting development narratives and national integration. PVSLN Murty, CMD of NEDFi, highlighted the link between economic empowerment and border security, stressing the role of first-generation entrepreneurs in strengthening frontier regions.
