The activists, holding banners, demanded registration of a case against the concerned minister and made sarcastic remarks that the faux pas was due to the non-fulfilment of the interests of different ministers of the state BJP.

CMSS leader Bidyut Saikia said that the APSC is still not free from scams like the Rakesh Pal-type scandal. The activists also burnt an effigy of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
