Two students died in Gaurisagar road accident

SIVASAGAR, Feb 25: Two HS first-year students were killed in a fatal road accident at Siripuria Tiniali under Gaurisagar Police Station on Tuesday.

The deceased, Rinku Ranjan Dutta of Gaurisagar Junior College and Priyanuj Bora of Sivasagar Senior Secondary School, were returning home from college on a scooty which rammed into a motorcycle.

Rinku Ranjan Dutta, son of Ranjan Dutta of Kharadhara, died on the spot, while Priyanuj Bora, son of Khagendra Bora of Dhanekhuwa village, died on the way to the hospital.

The death of the duo has cast a pall of gloom over Gaurisagar and their respective institutions.
