Nezone Group flags off export consignment of poles to Dubai

GUWAHATI, Feb 27: Nezone Group on Thursday flagged off an international shipment of Nezone Poles to Dubai for use in street lighting infrastructure, marking a significant milestone in its 40th year of operations.

The company said the export order was received just a month ago and was manufactured and dispatched within a 30-day turnaround.

The consignment has been shipped via the ocean route from Mundra Port in Gujarat to Jebel Ali, Dubai, further strengthening the company’s global supply chain presence.

The latest dispatch adds Dubai to Nezone Group’s growing export portfolio.

The company has previously exported its products to Australia, several Asian countries, Nigeria and Canada, supplying customised steel solutions that meet international standards.

The flag-off ceremony was attended by Subhash Agarwal, partner, Nezone Group; Pawan Goyal, general manager (finance); and Rajesh Chhetri, deputy general manager (marketing), along with senior team members associated with the execution of the order.

The development comes as the company completes 40 years in the steel industry. Nezone Group operates manufacturing plants in Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, supplying customised steel products for infrastructure, transmission, lighting and industrial applications across domestic and international markets.

The company said the export reflects its continued focus on quality, innovation and timely delivery, while also highlighting the industrial capabilities of the Northeast on the global stage.
