TEZPUR, March 6: With participation of 18 teams from 12 PM SHRI schools across Sonitpur district a district-level Project-Based Learning competition was held on Friday which showcased remarkable innovation and creativity of the young innovators.
The event inaugurated by Abhijit Bora, in-charge academic supervisor of Tezpur Academy, in the presence of District Planning Officer Dipak Biswas, was organised by Samagra Shiksha, Sonitpur district at Tezpur Academy. The competition highlighted the innovative abilities of students through various project presentations. Participants were grouped into three categories — Classes III to V, Classes VI to VIII and Classes IX to X. In the Classes III to V category, PM SHRI Gandhi Ashram Higher Primary School secured the first position, followed by PM SHRI Bhitorkhuti Higher Secondary School in the second position, while Khanamukh Higher Secondary School secured the third position.
In the Classes VI to VIII category, PM SHRI Singri Higher Secondary School won the first position, PM SHRI Chandra Nath Sarma Higher Secondary School secured the second position and PM SHRI Tezpur Collegiate Higher Secondary School stood third. In the Classes IX to X category, PM SHRI Tezpur Collegiate Higher Secondary School secured the first position, followed by PM SHRI Kadamtali Higher Secondary School in
the second position, while Chandra Nath Sarma Higher Secondary School secured the third position.
All the winning teams were selected to represent the district in the State-level Project-Based Learning competition.
