HT CorrespondentDIBRUGARH, Sept 12: The first award cum felicitation programme for private high school teachers of Mankota – Milan Nagar area was organised under the banner of Jagat-Jyoti Torch Bearer Study Centre Milan Nagar at NLB City College Auditorium on Saturday.
Jharna Dutta Gaur, founder and core mentor of the centre said, “This programme is a small gesture to recognise and motivate the unsung counterparts in the field and inspire them for better presentations.”
Three schools took part and the awardees are – Madam Pallavi Rajkhowa and Sazzad Ali of Shishu Niketan High School, Yam Thappa and Antonia Areng of St Xavier’s High School and Arun Roy and Hemanta Pegu of Prashanthi Divine Valley School bagged the award for their untiring contributions and innovative methods of teaching.
