27 Grade-IV staff of provincialised schools get service order

DIPHU, Oct 7: Altogether 27 persons received their service order of Grade-IV Chowkidar post in provincialised Upper Primary Schools in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong under the Assam Education (Provincialisation of Services of Non-Teaching Staff of Venture Educational Institutions) Act, 2018.

The appointment letters were formally handed over in a function held here at the conference hall of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Secretariat on Friday.
Distributing the appointment letters, the chief executive member (CEM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang appreciated the service rendered by the Grade IV employees though their posts were not regularised.
He said, “The Grade IV staff has rendered their service though their services were not regularised. Many have already worked for 20 to 30 years. Some might retire within a few years of time. But the appointment letters they have received today is due to their continued service in the schools and I appreciate them for their contribution.”
The CEM also said that the appointment to vacant posts of teaching faculty in ME and High School will be made by the KAAC. A Govt Law College in Diphu and a B.Ed college in Dongkamukam are coming up. The KAAC is striving for improving the education of the district by introducing a new education system and achieving quality education, he said.
The programme was attended by MP Horensing Bey; chairman, KAAC, Raju Tisso and deputy chairman, KAAC, Ajit Kumar Dey; executive member, KAAC, Education, Richard Tokbi and others.
