GUWAHATI, Nov 29: 95 Mirchi Guwahati is organising a 10-day activity to raise public awareness about the importance of adhering to traffic and road safety rules.
Notably, it is an annual campaign by Mirchi Guwahati, where Mirchi radio jockeys, with the support from Guwahati traffic police take some celebrity guests to the streets to issue ‘challans’ to the traffic rule violators. It is an educational campaign, and noted personalities such as Barsha Rani Bishaya, Aimee Baruah, and Ravi Sarma have participated in the earlier editions.
After a halt due to pandemic, Mirchi Guwahati is bringing back the informative activity for the 4th time. Content creator and viral sensation Harpal Saikia will be kicking off the ‘Mirchi Challan’ on Wednesday and ACP Himangshu Das has been requested to join the activity on its finale.
