He said the decision was taken after the elders of these villages had approached him.

Sinha informed that these villages are presently not accessible by roads and one has to trek for two and half hours from Kongthong village to reach them.

“I will go to these villages to meet the people,” the parliamentarian said even as he informed them that a virtual clinic will be set up in the three villages by the end of next month.

The concerned deputy commissioner would be visiting Kongthong with line department officers to address the issues there, Sinha said.

Under his direct supervision, over 200 dustbins, and a sanitary napkin vending machine were installed, and six public toilets were built in Kongthong village.

Sinha also distributed over 400 honey boxes and kits to the villagers there on Wednesday.

To further promote the village and its unique beauty, the MP said he would invite Bollywood producers to shoot their films in the vicinity of Kongthong.
