NAGAON, Jan 23: Majibur Rahman, a school teacher and a resident of Roumari near Beltoli was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon in the front lawn of his residence on Sunday night.

Sources claimed that Majibur Rahman, who is also the owner of a brick kiln, went to Beltoli local market on Sunday evening and on his way back, he was chased by two motorcycle borne miscreants.
As he reached the front lawn of his house, the miscreants attacked him with sharp weapons and then fled from the scene, sources said, adding that he was later found dead by his family members.
Upon being informed, local police rushed to the spot and sent the remains of the victim for post-mortem. Besides, a case has been registered in this regard and police have started investigating into the entire episode, sources said further.
