Sivasagar BJP ward commissioner breathes her last on February 11

SIVASAGAR, Feb 1:  Popular BJP Ward Commissioner of Ward no 10 Upama Bora (44) died of alleged wrong treatment in Sivasagar Pragati Nursing Home on the night of February 11 where she was admitted for renal aliments four days back.

The husband of deceased, Tridib Bora lodged an FIR in Sivasagar PS against the hospital alleging serious anomalies in the treatment procedure and criminal negligence of the medical staff. Meanwhile, demanding the closure of the nursing home in the wake of a series of deaths of patients admitted to the hospital under alleged negligence of treatment, hundreds of people on Monday, gheraoed the hospital .
