GUWAHATI, March 5: WWF India Assam chapter on March 4 inaugurated the 2nd Ek Prithvi Model School at Cotton Collegiate Govt. HS School at Kamrup Metro.

An Activity room were inaugurated followed by teacher /educators orientation programme as the first step for this school.
Amir Hussain, AES, deputy director of Elementary Education inaugurated the activity room in presence of the state coordinator, WWF-India Assam state office, Archita Baruah Bhattacharyya, Balay Kr. Borah, principal, Cotton Collegiate Govt HS School among others.
The launch was followed by lighting of lamp along with Guru Bandana and Ek Prithvi Anthem. The activity room was briefed with its importance aiming towards a sustainable development followed by the environmental floor games. The officials appreciated the activity room & said it will help other schools also to come and experience about various Environment Education.
