MARGHERITA, March 13: Margherita Regional Student Union on Monday burnt the effigy of education minister Ranoj Pegu at NH 315 block tiniali, Margherita in protest against the leak of General Science paper of HSLC examination.

More than 100 members of Margherita Regional Student Union were present during the burning of effigy of the education minister where they raised various slogans against the Assam government, SEBA and education minister Ranoj Pegu.
Chintu Gogoi president of Margherita Regional Student Union said, “Every year SEBA does two things one is they conduct HSLC examination and other is they leak the question paper which is very much shameful and we demand resignation of Pegu from his post otherwise we shall organise strong agitational programme at Margherita and during this if any untoward incident occurs Margherita sub divisional administration shall be responsible for it.”
