Nagaon Bar Association Organises Citizens Meet

NAGAON, March 17: Opposing the state government’s move on hike in municipality taxes, Nagaon Bar Association on Friday organised a citizen meet at the auditorium of Nagaon Bar Association here. During the meet, the organising body took a slew of decisions to connection with the issue.

The meeting was chaired by Abdul Halim Khandakar, the president of Nagaon Bar Association while a host of senior lawyer, law practitioners and politicians from various political parties, educationists, social activists and leaders from various local organizations participated and also spoke on the issues associated with the proposed high rate municipality taxes.
