Guwahati, March 24: West Guwahati College of Education, Pandu organised three-day long national level workshop on the theme-Teacher Preparation for Next Generation Learners in School Education’, in collaboration with Council for Teacher Education Foundation, India.
Prof Madhuri Isave from Tilak College of Education Maharashtra and prof N.Pradhan, NERIE, Meghalaya participated as a resource person in the workshop.
The workshop started with welcoming speech by the principal of the college Dr Gitanjali Choudhury. Prof Isave showed the students how to use latest ICT such as Chat GPT, Dall.E2, Padlet and Mentimeter.com in teaching learning process. She also focused the application of pedagogy in regarding NEP 2020 which session was totally based on hands-on activities.
On the last day of the workshop, prof Nityananda Pradhan shared his speech on experimental learning and vocational education as recommended by NEP 2020. The informative and knowledgeable sessions of the workshop was successfully ended with the hundred participations of various teacher- educators of various B.Ed colleges, Kamrup (M) and student trainees of the college.
