BJYM Organises Free Medical Camp

BOKAJAN, April 12: Commemorating the 44th foundation day of BJP party the Bharatiya Janata Yova Morcha (BJYM), Sarupathar Mandal Committee has observed social justice week by organising a free medical camp at Balipathar Senso Bey LP School.

VDC chairman, Silarson Rongpi inaugurated the medical camp in presence of party leaders, physicians and health workers. Rongpi said when sick poor families can’t afford to go to health centres and in order to get health facilities, he organised the health camp. Rongpi hopes that the health camp will benefit the villagers.

A medical team comprising of Dr Mindar Engti; Nabajyoti Konwar as pharmacist; Mahendra Gogoi and Raklim Gogoi as laboratory technicians and ANM Parismita Saikia and Poppy Deori conducted the health check-up to the villagers and provided free medicines those needed. More than 120 individuals got free health check-ups.
