Timber Seized In Karbi Anglong

BOKAJAN: The forest officials in Karbi Anglong recovered sawn timber inside Numbor Forest. Deopani Forest Beat officer Rajesh Lekthe was leading a routine patrol inside Silonijan Range at around 3 pm when they came across a dump of sawn illegal wood.

The illegal timber has been seized and brought to the Beat office. The timber is worth around Rs 30,000 in the market.
