DEMOW, May 18:
 A dead body was recovered in Khongia Laojan Tea Estate under Demow Police Station on Wednesday.
According to sources, a dead body was floating in the pond which was inside the Laojan Tea Estate on Wednesday. The labourers and locals saw the dead body and immediately informed the authority of the tea estate. A team of Demow police reached the spot and recovered the body from the pond. The deceased has been identified as Budheswar Khoira (37), a resident of Laojan Tea Estate.
