In a social media post, Khandu said, “Walking through IG Park, Itanagar, overseeing preparations for PM Narendra Modi Ji’s visit,” he added, “Never before has Arunachal seen such consistent attention from a Prime Minister, showing real care for the dreams and development of our people. We are eager to welcome Hon’ble PM Modi Ji as he inaugurates and lays the foundation for key projects, and witness the transformative impact these initiatives will bring to every corner of Arunachal.”

Preparations for the visit are in full swing, with massive manpower engaged in cleaning, sweeping, and painting stretches of the National Highway from Donyi Polo Airport, Hollongi, to Itanagar, as well as the route from Raj Bhawan to IG Park. Officers are also overseeing painting of dividers and clearing vegetation along NH-415 to ensure the city is clean and presentable.

The visit underscores Prime Minister Modi’s focus on the North East, with Arunachal Pradesh receiving significant attention and developmental support. Officials are working on a war-footing basis to ensure the city is ready to host the Prime Minister and showcase the state’s progress and potential.
