NAHARLAGUN, Oct 6: The four-month combined induction training for 140 Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service (Entry Grade) and Allied Service officers recruited through the APPSCCE 2024 commenced on Monday at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Naharlagun.
The inaugural programme began with the arrival of the chief guest, Pramod Kumar Jain, IAS (Retd), Chairperson of the Administrative Reforms Commission, Arunachal Pradesh, who lit the ceremonial lamp and delivered the inaugural address.
In his speech, Jain urged the new officers to dedicate themselves to honest and efficient public service.
He emphasized that administrators play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the government and the people, noting that every decision taken by an officer impacts the lives of citizens.
He called upon the officers to let humility, empathy, and fairness guide their actions, while blending modern governance practices with the cultural values of the state, stressing that the future of Arunachal Pradesh lies in the hands of its young administrators.
Earlier, Deputy Director-cum-Course Coordinator Bittu Kri welcomed the participants and provided a brief overview of the training programme.
He highlighted that the four-month course is designed to orient officers towards effective governance, policy implementation, and field-level challenges, describing it as the foundation of their administrative career and urging participants to approach it with seriousness and dedication.
ATI Director Pate Marik, in his concluding remarks, expressed gratitude to the chief guest and underscored the importance of continuous learning, noting that while formal training would end in four months, the journey of learning as an administrator never stops.
The inaugural session was attended by deputy directors Mizum Nyodu, Sange Tsering, Anima Mize, and Corrina Mum Norbu, along with other faculty members and dignitaries, marking the beginning of an important phase in the careers of the newly recruited officers.
