19 fresh dengue cases detected in Karbi Anglong

DIPHU, Nov 18: The number of dengue cases in Karbi Anglong are not showing any signs to die down soon as more cases of the fatal disease continue to be reported.

As per data available till Thursday night, the total number of patients admitted in Diphu Medical College and Hospital is 357 and total discharged is 330 and 7 patients are referred.

Of the 40 tests of the disease that were conducted on Friday, nineteen came positive.

Till Thursday, five have died from dengue along with other issues. However, there is only 1 confirmed death due to dengue by the Karbi Anglong District Vector Borne Diseases Death Audit Committee. The number of patients in Diphu Medical College and Hospital as of Thursday is 16.
