GUWAHATI, Feb 28: The 96th meeting of the Zonal Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) took place on Wednesday at the Luitgarh Railway Officers’ Club located in Maligaon, Guwahati. The primary objective of the meeting was to facilitate direct interaction with representatives from various sections of society and railway users to gather their views on railway-related services. The committee comprises MPs, MLAs, high officials from the Transport Departments of various states, various passenger associations, merchants associations, chamber of commerce bodies, and special interest groups from various North Eastern states, as well as West Bengal and Bihar, falling within the serviceable jurisdiction of NF Railway. A total of 13 members were present at the meeting, including Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Khagen Murmu, and representatives from various stakeholders from all over NF Railway. The railway side was represented by Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, general manager, NF Railway, Ravilesh Kumar, additional general manager, NF Railway, along with other senior railway officials from NF Railway Headquarters.
