Dibrugarh, July 2: A meeting of the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) was held at Dibrugarh Airport, chaired by Union minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Rameswar Teli, on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by Biswajit Pegu, deputy commissioner of Dibrugarh, Shwetank Mishra, superintendent of police, airport officials, and other stakeholders.
The primary objective of the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) is to ensure that airports are user-friendly and provide adequate passenger amenities.
During the meeting, the chair was briefed about the various passenger facilities and services available at the airport, and the committee discussed the need for additional facilities. The committee also reviewed the status of ongoing and planned infrastructure upgrades and expansion works at the airport.
The airport director provided a comprehensive overview of the airport, with a focus on passenger amenities and ongoing infrastructure development projects at Dibrugarh Airport.
