DEMOW, Nov 25: Under the patronage of All Adivasi Students Association of Assam (AASAA), Demow Regional Committee and AASAA, Kharahat Primary Committee organized the “Adivasi Adhikar Divas” (Kala Divas) to honor those who lost their lives in the Guwahati Beltola incident. In memory of the martyrs, members of AASAA, Demow Regional Committee, and AASAA, Kharahat Primary Committee paid tribute and shradhanjali by lighting earthen lamps in Kharahat Bazaar House on Friday evening.

The program saw the presence of Lalit Tanti, President, Jiten Das, President of AASAA, Kharahat Primary Committee, along with other AASAA members. Additionally, the AASAA, Gohainbari Primary Committee also organized a similar program. Kamal Bhumij, Secretary of AASAA, Demow Regional Committee, participated in the event.
