Appointment Letters Distributed

DIPHU, April 3: Executive member (EM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Handloom & Textiles and Fisheries etc., Madhuram Lekthe distributed appointment letter to the selected candidates for various posts for Bakalia English Medium Higher Secondary School during the appointment letters distribution programme held at the school premises on Monday.

Altogether 27 selected candidates were given the appointment letters. The posts were Subject Teachers 14 posts, Demonstrators 3 posts, LDA 2 posts, Lab Bearers 3 posts, Grade Four  2 posts, Night Chowkidar 1 post, Librarian 1 post and Peon 1 post.

It has been mentioned here that the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council has upgraded Bakalia English Medium High School as Higher Secondary School with the introduction of Arts and Science stream.

EM Lekthe thanked Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang for upgrading Bakalia English Medium High School to Higher Secondary School with introduction of Arts and Science stream. He urged the students to be sincere in their duty of studying their lessons and attending class regularly. It is only through hard work and dedication that one can be successful and the duty of students is to be sincere in their studies, the EM said.

The EM also informed that Phonglokpet High School and Rajapathar High School are also being upgraded to Higher Secondary by the authority of KAAC. These two schools also get financial status from the government. Rajapathar Tiniali High School was also upgraded into a higher secondary school.

The appointment letter distribution programme was presided over by President SMDC, Dilip Rongpi and attended by VDC chairman, Langfer, Naren Timung, VDC chairman and principal, Bakulia English Medium Higher Secondary School and others.
