Assam Rifles observes National Unity Day

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 1: The Assam Rifles organised a “Run for Unity” at its Battalion Headquarters in Lokra on Friday to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, informed a press release.

A total of 49 participants, including 10 Assam Rifles personnel and 39 locals from the Lokra area, took part in the run, which aimed to promote the spirit of national integration, unity and physical fitness.
