BISWANATH CHARIALI, Oct 27: The Assam Rifles Battalion, operating under the HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), conducted an “Awareness Lecture on Child Abuse” in Dighali Village, located in Sonitpur district. This lecture was part of Assam Rifles’ ongoing efforts to raise awareness and educate the community on the pressing issue of child abuse.
The lecture covered a range of topics, including the profound impact of child abuse on individuals and communities, strategies to combat this issue, and the existing laws aimed at addressing social disparities related to child abuse.
The event provided an opportunity for villagers of all ages to come together, learn, and collectively take meaningful steps toward creating a safer and healthier environment within society. The lecture’s conclusion emphasized the importance of building a society free from mischief and distancing oneself from child abuse. A total of 129 villagers participated in the event with great zeal and enthusiasm.
