SIVASAGAR, May 24: As the first day of the Gunotsav 2022 passes off peacefully in Sivasagar district, in an unfortunate incident one assistant teacher of Bargaon Rajabari LP School Amarjeet Dutta of Nitaipukhuri collapsed and died on the spot while taking class.
The sudden death of the teacher created a tragic situation in the school.

The Gunotsav is being observed in 1,320 schools in the district with 72,563 numbers of students being assessed. Almost all the schools have been undergoing a sudden change utilising their resources in cleaning and building an environment for the Gunotsav, and the Sivasagar district administration is gearing up to monitor the situation for qualitative educational development of the students.
