Assamese film star Ravi Sarma felicitated at Ekaani showroom

Guwahati, July 2: Ekaani, India’s leading luxury gifting brand, felicitated renowned Assamese film actor Ravi Sarma for his outstanding performance in the blockbuster movie ‘Sri Raghupati’. The felicitation took place at the Ekaani showroom on the first floor of Pancham Tower, Lachit Nagar in Guwahati. Showroom partners Vineet Lohia and Nidhi Lohia, along with film distributor Siddharth Goenka, graced the event.

Lohia expressed his pride in felicitating Ravi Sarma at their showroom, mentioning that ‘Sri Raghupati’ had created history in the Assamese film industry by generating a business of Rs 10 crores in just 21 days, surpassing many big-budget films. He further added that it was a significant achievement for both the Assamese film industry and the Ekaani family.

Expressing his gratitude for the recognition, actor Ravi Sarma acknowledged the growing interest of people from different communities in Assamese movies. He commended the efforts of Nidhi Lohia, a young woman entrepreneur, and her daughter Yashvi Lohia, the founder of the Ekaani Guwahati Showroom. Sarma praised their contributions in establishing a luxury gifting brand that offers exclusive dinner sets, home decor items, and gold and silver plated idols of Gods and Goddesses from premium brands like Ekaani, Noritake, Augustini, Roberto Cavalli, EL Unique, and Nirvana. He said that the showroom aimed to fulfill the premium product needs of customers from Assam and the north-east region.

Speaking on the occasion, Lohia highlighted the extensive range of products offered by Ekaani, including wedding gifts, world-class dinnerware, exquisite glassware, and home decor items. He expressed pride in being a preferred brand for silver-plated wedding gifting and mentioned that their products adorned the homes of esteemed individuals, including celebrities, industrialists, bureaucrats, and prominent families in India. Lohia further mentioned that the showroom provided a one-stop destination for all gifting needs.
