Awareness programme on ‘Menstrual and Adolescent Disorders’ held

DEMOW, Dec 9: An awareness on ‘Menstrual and Adolescent Disorders’ programme was held in Demow Town High School, under the patronage of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Sivasagar branch in collaboration with Demow Model Hospital on Thursday.
The awareness meeting was organised under the presidentship of Dr Prasanta Pratim Sarma, newly appointed deputy superintendent of Demow Model Hospital. Bharat Sarma, headmaster of Demow Town High School anchored in the programme. Dr Malabika Baruah spoke broadly on the topic ‘Adolescent Health’. Dr Vandana Gupta Sarma spoke broadly on the topic ‘Menstrual Hygiene’. Dr Lalit Borah spoke on the topic ‘Obesity and Menstrual Health’.
In the programme, dignitaries, media persons of Demow along with the teaching staff of Demow Town High School were also present.
