GUWAHATI, April 24: A grand religious program of ‘Ek Shaam Khatu Naresh Sri Shyam Prabhu Ke Naam’ will be organised in the Vrindavan Garden courtyard of Shri Gauhati Gaushala located at Athgaon. Renowned devotional singers Bhajan Samrat Sanjay Mittal and Vivek Sharma of Kolkata from across the country are coming to drench Guwahati in this huge devotional program. It is to be known that Sanjay Mittal is visiting Guwahati city for the first time.

The event of this great Bhajan Sandhya will start from 4 pm on April 30. Organiser and devotee of Lord Shyam Kamal Aggarwal (Badgola, Mariani) and devotee Anil Agarwal (Guwahati) informed that a grand devotional celebration of Baba Shyam preparations are going on in full swing to make this Bhajan Sandhya memorable. On this occasion, the priest of the sewak family of Shri Khatu Shyam Mandir, Narendra Singh Chouhan has accepted the request to give his holy company.

The program will begin with the worship of Baba. Thereafter, Baba’s divine flame will be lit. Bhajan Sandhya will start from 4 pm with Ganesh Vandana. On this occasion, local popular artist Ujjwal More along with singer Sanjay Mittal and Vivek Sharma will also present flowers of his bhajans in front of Shyam Baba. With the news of the event, huge enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees. Devotees are expected to throng not only from Guwahati, but from all over Assam including Nagaon, Tezpur, Barpeta, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia. All the organisers have requested all the pious devotees to come on time for Bhajan Sandhya and Mahaprasad.
