Hundreds of party workers from Kothalguri, Disapur, Dimaidi, Somondhan, Misibailam, Kherbari, Disakisim, Daojingphang, Gadaipur, Khanraidisa and Maramibar villages have met the CEM at his residence at Rongthe-ang and submitted a memorandum demanding a party ticket for Terangpi.

The party workers have also been demanding the construction of a road from Diphu to Tila Basti (Nagaland border) via Dhansiri Market to Rangapahar Siding.

It may be mentioned here that the incumbent MAC from Dhansiri is Pradip Diphusa. He is also an executive member holding charge of the Transport and Food & Civil Supplies Departments.

The CEM told party workers that the date for the election is yet to be notified. The BJP has to follow party principles. CEM, EMs and MLAs cannot give a final decision on tickets and have to be done in consultation with the party. The demand for tickets for Niso Terangpi will be taken to the state level and they will make the final decision.
