Bhojpuri Students Fresher’s Meet held at Kheroni

KHERONI, Sept 27: Kheroni witnessed the first Bhojpuri Student Fresher’s Meet, 2022 on Sunday. The programme was held at Kheroni Auditorium Hall. The cultural programme and felicitation ceremony was organised by Bhojpuri Jan Jagaran Abhiyan state unit.

The programme began with lighting of the lamp by chief guest Dr Santosh Patel, national president of Bhojpuri Jan Jagran Abhiyan and Dr Amrendra Arya along with other dignitaries.

On the occasion, president of Bhojpuri Jan Jagran Abhiyan of the state, Dharmendra Chauhan and his aide, Suman Prasad welcomed the guests on stage. Bhojpuri students from various institutes were invited and were felicitated with gifts. The most attractive part of the programme was cultural presentation by various groups which was enjoyed by the mass. Furthermore, Dipankar Chauhan and his team presented a welcome song with some didactic songs.

The chief guest Dr Santosh Patel addressed the attendees and encouraged them by explaining the significance of Bhojpuri language, culture and literature and insisted on his long pending demand for inclusion of this language in 8th schedule of Indian constitution.

The chief guest also presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Jitendra Kumar Singh and Dr Rajesh Kumar Chauhan on completion of their PhD in their respective field and for bringing laurels to the Bhojpuri society.
