BHP gathers water from Sivasagar tank for Ram Mandir consecration ceremony

SIVASAGAR, Dec 11: Activists from BHP (Bharat Hindu Parishad), RSS, and BJP collected water from the historic Sivasagar Borpukhuri on Monday. The collected water will be used in the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir on January 12, marking the opening of the temple to devotees of Lord Rama.

Led by Ankur Bezbaruah, Gu Rakhsa Pramukh, Assam Prant, Saral Chetia, district president of BHP, and Jiten Koch, assistant secretary, the activists emphasised the significance of collecting water from major water sources like tanks, rivers, and lakes. This water will be sent to the Ram Janambhumi temple as part of the preparations for the consecration ceremony.

Bezbarua, speaking to the media, mentioned that this initiative is part of the Hindutva organisations’ efforts to collect water from various significant sources. They also extended invitations to people to visit the newly built Ram Mandir.
