Bicycle stand inaugurated by Bidyawati Teronpi

HT CorrespondentBAKALIA, Sept 7: Bidyawati Teronpi, wife of Lt. Ramsing Hanse, former addl. director and executive engineer, Agriculture (Mechanical) Department, KAAC donated and inaugurated a bicycle stand in the premises of Bakaliaghat Higher Secondary School. The bicycle stand was handed over to BHSS authority here on Wednesday.

The bicycle stand constructed in memory of Lt Ramsing Hanse was done at a cost of Rs 3.5 lakh. Lt Hanse was a former student of the school who passed away on July 9, 2020 due to Covid-19. Lt Hanse and his siblings studied in school and went on to become engineers, doctors and various professions.  Lt. Hanse’s family also donated books to the BHSS library.

The occasion was attended by principal of BHSS, Deva Dutta Deka, Dr. Rosalee Hansepi (daughter of Lt.Hanse), his brother Dhonsing Hanse and president of Karbi Employees Association, Bakalia Unit, teachers and students of BHSS.
