GUWAHATI, April 4: The Amazing Namaste Foundation, a Section B company has organised a nine-day bike expedition ‘North East on Wheels’ from April 9 to April 17 to boost and promote tourism in the north-east region and will highlight the entire region through various lenses.
The chief minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma will flag-off the bike expedition.
During the journey, the riders will pay tribute to our national heroes and interact with the local communities. They will ride through different international borders which includes Bhunia Pass, Jaigaon, Moreh and Dawki during their journey.
Speaking about the initiative, Atul Kulkarni, chairman, Amazing Namaste Foundation said, “North-east region is not just unique but also strategically very important for India’s neighbourhood initiatives. We are happy that the bikers across the country representing all ages and gender have responded in an overwhelming manner. Our endeavour is to provide an experience of a lifetime to the people.”
He further showed gratitude by thanking all the state governments of the north-east region for actively supporting the initiative. He also thanked all the sponsors and partners for taking a keen interest in promoting the beauty and vibrancy of the region.
