KOKRAJHAR, May 2: The bodies of the three youths, who had gone missing while bathing at the Beki river near the Manas National Park (MNP) in Baksa district on Wednesday were recovered on Thursday.

According to local sources, the three youths had gone to the Beki river for bathing in the evening on Wednesday and had since gone missing. The police administration, state disaster response force and local people had launched a search operation to locate the youths. Their bodies were fished out in the afternoon on Wednesday.

The victims have been identified as Deep Saha, Raj Saha and Abhijit Karmakar of Barpeta Road.
The bodies have been sent for autopsy, the reports of which are awaited.
