The special discussion held with the Bodo national organisations and political parties in presence of community leaders and intellectuals welcomed the keeping of status quo of the Kokrajhar Parliamentary ST reserved seat and the allocation of 15 assembly seats in Bodoland region.

The meeting reacted strongly to the Election Commission of India (ECI) for not considering the demands made by Bodo national organisations & political parties for creation of Udalguri Parliament Constituency with LACs of Bodoland Territorial Region and enhancement of reserved LACs for ST in Bodoland Territorial Region.

The house also highlighted that the Bodos in Gohpur and Sonitpur district and other areas of Assam must be kept intact with the LACs instead of bifurcating to microscopic minority.

The house has also unanimously resolved to present a representative to the Election Commission with joint signatures of 13 organisations, community leaders and intellectuals on the key demands including creation of Udalguri Parliament Constituency within LACs of BTR only, increase of ST reserved LACs in BTR up to 10 ST reserved seats, keeping intact Bodo dominated areas in the draft delimitation of LACs in Assam without bifurcation in microscopic population.
