BOKAJAN, May 14: The Bokajan SDO (Civil) has announced the Member of Autonomous Council election schedule for Bokajan LA.
In a press conference held at the office of Bokajan SDO (Civil), ACS, Anup Kumar Brama said MAC election will be conducted for 17 Bokajan LA which comprises 7 MAC seats. The MAC seats are 17 Socheng Dhenta, 21 Borjan, 22 Sarupathar, 23 Bokajan, 24 Deopani, 25 Nilip and 26 Duarbagori henlo.
The total number of voters in the 7 MAC seats is 1,69,788 with 85,834 male voters and 83,954 female voters, 218 polling stations among which 70 polling stations are considered sensitive.
The last date for filing a nomination is May 23, scrutiny is on May 24, withdrawal is on May 24, voting will be on June 8, if there is a re-poll it will be on June 10 and counting will be on June 12.
