GUWAHATI, Sept 11: K Kavitha, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) representing the ruling BRS party in Telangana, visited the renowned Kamakhya temple in Assam and offered prayers on Monday. During her visit, she prayed for the wellbeing of the people of Telangana and expressed confidence in her party’s prospects in the upcoming Legislative Assembly polls scheduled to be held in the southern state in a couple of months.

Kavitha shared her visit to the temple on the social media platform X, describing the Kamakhya Devi Temple as a symbol of strength, faith, and devotion. In her post, she stated, “I prayed for the well-being, healthy life, and prosperity of loved ones, well-wishers, and the people of Telangana.”

Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, further expressed her belief that, with the blessings of the people of Telangana, the BRS party would return to power with a significant majority and continue serving the state’s residents.

This visit and Kavitha’s optimistic outlook set the stage for what promises to be a competitive and closely monitored Legislative Assembly election in Telangana in the coming months. (With inputs from PTI)
