GUWAHATI, Sept 1: With immense support and respond from the public, Government and various educational institutions, Byatikram MASDO successfully conducted the flagging off ceremony of the second edition of the ’30 Day Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign’ at Royal Global University, Betkuchi, Guwahati.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries such as Pawan Kr. Agarwalla, business leader coach & motivator, CEO of Datamation, Guwahati; Manjari Borthakur, joint director, Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of Assam; Rashmi Baruah Gogoi, ACS, deputy secretary, Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of Assam; Dr. Khasrul Islam, director, Ajmal Foundation; P.S. Reddy, director, Sai Vikash Educational Institutions, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Singh, vice chancellor, Royal Global University (RGU); Dr. Diganta Munshi, registrar, RGU; Abhijit Dutta, founder & director of Fortune Wings. The program proceeded with the felicitation ceremony accompanied with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Rashmi Baruah Gogoi shared an insight about the substance abuse and its use in the state. Marking the occasion, Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, president, Byatikram MASDO presented the campaign t-shirt as a souvenir to the vice chancellor and registrar of Royal Global University which was followed with a music therapy session by Anubhuti Kakoty Goswami and a motivational and inspiring lecture by Pawan Kr. Agarwalla.
“If you want to, you can achieve any heights. Troubles are a part of life but never give up on the obstacles, try to set the goals and reach the targets because you have the potential of doing it,” added Agarwalla.
Also P.S. Reddy said, “To achieve in life you should have two mantras i.e. I can, I will. Try to build your future that will make your parents proud and happy.”

Further towards the end of the program, a counselling session was addressed by Jahnabi Sharma and Dixeeta Garg on anti-drugs awareness and how the youths can save themselves from falling prey to contraband drugs.
The program also had a dance recital ‘Shiva Vandana’, performed by the students of Royal Global University.
