GUWAHATI, Sept 25: Cachar district commissioner Mridul Yadav reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE-2024), scheduled to take place on September 29.
The meeting, held at the conference hall of the DC’s Office on Wednesday and attended by key officials, aimed to ensure the flawless conduct of the examination across the district’s 29 designated centres.
During the review, commissioner Yadav emphasised the importance of adhering to the guidelines issued by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) and instructed all officers to ensure the examination runs smoothly without any lapses. He also called for strict monitoring and effective coordination among the centre in-charges and supervising officers to ensure a seamless examination process.
It is pertinent to mention that the ADRE-2024 is a key recruitment examination in Assam, and Cachar district is playing a crucial role by hosting several examination centres. District commissioner Yadav’s proactive measures and detailed review of the preparations underscore the administration’s commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent examination process.
The meeting was also attended by district development commissioner Norsing Bey, additional district commissioner (Education) Antara Sen, additional superintendent of police (Headquarters) Subrata Sen, and Bidyut Deb, regional secretary of SEBA, along with other concerned officers and personnel.
